Pretty In Pink

Hey Dolls,
My birthday was last Tuesday (July 12th) and I was feeling like a little princess lol. I went for a pink look to amplify my mood, and add extra femininity. Also, being that we are in the heart of the summer, I added a breezy, girly, and summery feel to the outfit. My makeup basically consists of a neutral eye paired with a bold lip. Enjoy the pics !

CIFW 2011

Hey Dolls,

Last month I had the privilege of attending the 2011 Caribbean International Fashion Week (CIFW) in NYC.  The event featured an array of premier designers, who all hail from various Caribbean islands.  The CIFW show raised scholarship funds for the CTO foundation to assist Caribbean nationals who aspire to engage in philanthropic projects.  The amazing event brought admiration, and appreciation for Caribbean beauty, culture, and of course, fashion! I truly had a fabulous night and can’t wait to attend next year’s showcase.

Here are some pictures of the outfit that I wore to this red carpet event, as well as a few pictures of the featured designers (pictures by Champion Eye Media) . Enjoy !!!

Coral On Taupe

Hey Dolls,
This coral blazer is definitely one of my Summer essentials . With that being said, it was only natural that I decided to wear it in place of 'the ordinary black blazer'. I decided to pair  the blazer with a white tank top, taupe peg-legged trousers, and taupe peep-toe pumps.
A coral blazer like this one can be used to achieve a nice colour-blocked look as well. Try pairing it with colours such as : Yellow, Royal Blue, Purple, or even [Seafoam] Green !
