It is no secret that some women find it difficult to be fabulously fashionable when with-child. Whether it's a stranger, someone you know personally, or even you - it seems like everywhere you turn, someone is pregnant lol. Pregnancy is notorious for discouraging the expression of style, which should NEVER be the case. New Voice On The Block : Elle Varner

Hey Dolls and Gents,


Singer/Songwriter Elle Varner is the new girl on the music scene. The video for her debut single 'Only Wanna Give It To You' featuring rising rap star J.Cole, airs tonight on BET's 106 & Park. The styling in the video is extremely fun, colourful, and just down right fierce ! Elle is an extremely talented, and beautiful young woman; her sense of style is just icing on the cake. Once she keeps her ensembles this fresh, and her music on point - she'll do great !

Love At First Sight

The other day, I just happened to stumble upon these crazy wicked pair of pumps and since that moment, I can't seem to get them off my mind! I think I'm in love **cues harp music** No seriously, I am absolutely, positively, hopelessly in love with these shoes; my heart skips a beat every time I gaze at their rapturous beauty lol. Intricately designed to commemorate twenty years of marvel, this detailed collector's piece has my heart. Sequins, embroidery, satin, frayed fabric, chains, ribbon, studs - all in one phenomenal pair of  shoes! No words can begin to describe how breathtaking they truly are; you just have to see them to believe it!

'Pegasus'

Hey Dolls,

Bold statement pieces have been all the rave this year, especially in regard to necklaces. If you're anything like me and love to accessorize - you'll be happy to hear that bold necklaces did NOT die with the summer season.  The edge in your wardrobe can continue into the fall. One of the pieces that I'm in love with this fall is the 'Pegasus' bib necklace by Stella and Dot. This piece is edgy and vivacious, yet still effortlessly harmonizes with the tone of autumn.


I find the play on texture achieved by the layering feather-shaped pieces to be very unique. The gradient of colour from 'rusted gold' to bright 'yellow gold' also makes for somewhat of a vintage feel. I also adore the elegant square-link chain, which brings an exotic, Egyptian twist, when coupled with the textured feathers. 'Pegasus' is   entirely hand made and is said to be very lightweight, which is definitely a plus for the on-the-go fashionista. This bib necklace is a great compliment to browns, greens, berry tones, black, and greys - all of which contribute to a diverse fall wardrobe.
