Hey Dolls,
Bora Aksu Spring/Summer 2012 was inspired by postcards discovered in Geneva. The pieces were designed to tell a sad story of two French lovers from the 18th century. Delicate fabrics, soft hues, and a hint of somber shades construct a theme of medieval romance. Lace, cinched waists, decadent draping, and extravagant ruffles are all characteristics from those ancient times. A little taste of modern vamp was added to the looks with a variety of fishnet stockings. Aksu made sure to mix in a few ready-to-wear pieces into his couture collection, which makes it possible for everyone can enjoy it. Here are a few pictures from the runway show.
